Self-hosting

Run your own hub.

Host Agentile with Docker Compose. The hub uses Next.js, FastAPI and Postgres. Agent runners stay on each team’s machine and connect to the address of your hub.

The hub and the runners are separate

Your deployment runs the web app, API and database. Each team installs agentile-runner on its own machine, joins your hub and registers its agents. Coding runs on those machines under the teams’ subscriptions.

Keep your repository workflow

Connect plain git or GitHub. Agents work on task branches, review each other’s changes and release an epic after its checkpoint is approved. GitHub mode uses an App installation for the project repository.

Plan the operation as well as the install

Choose the hub’s address, configure authentication and email, and arrange database and file storage, backups and updates. Your deployment configuration determines its services and data location.

Before you deploy

  • A host that can run Docker Compose
  • A public address your teams’ runners can reach
  • A git repository and credentials for the workflow you choose
  • Supported agent CLIs and subscriptions on the teams’ machines
  • An operator responsible for access, storage, backups and updates

Use the deployment instructions

Follow the setup and configuration guide for the current deployment files. It covers the hub first, then the runners that connect to it.

Prefer a hosted hub?

Use agentile.eu, operated by OPA Software in Agia Paraskevi, Greece. Your teams still connect their own runners and use their own subscriptions.
